My daughter wanted to give her friends something princess for Christmas. This is what we came up with. It matches the little crowns on the body glitter package. It's a great idea to tie cookies to gifts!

Flowers, flowers, flowers

I learned how to make chocolate paste, and started making flowers. They taste so much better than gumpaste, but temperature is a factor. If it is too hot these poor little flowers will melt.

Valentines Day

These are several different cookies that I have made for Valentines day. The little cookies I call tidbits, I made them to look like conversation hearts. The flowers are made out of milk and white chocolate.

Happy "Valentines" Birthday

My sister in laws birthday is on Feb. 14th. I made this give to her, to celebrate her valentines/birthday. This cookie is 12 inches, and the roses are made out of white and milk chocolate. It turned out beautiful.

New Design for Gingerbread house

I wanted to improve the design of the gingerbread house cookie. So I added candycanes and I made window cutouts and filled with crushed hard candy to make them look like glass. I like this design much better!

Gingerbread house cookie

Christmas lights

When I found this cookie cutter, I just had to have it. My favorite part of Christmas is looking at all the lights on the houses, and watching the lights on the trees. I used edible silver paint to color the bottom.

Traditional Gingerbread

I make these gingerbread cookies every Christmas. I love them, not only because they are beautiful, but they are so yummy. I make the icing with peppermint flavoring. The combination of the peppermint with the spices in the cookie, is wonderful. Best when dipped in hot cocoa!

Christmas fun

I very rarely make sugar cookies at Christmas because we love the gingerbread so much. This year I decided to make sugar cookies and I love the change. The colors make it fun. I used the leaf tip on the Christmas wreath to give it more texture. I will be making more this year for sure!

Ballet Slippers

I made these for my daughter. She loves ballet. She is dancing in the Nutcracker and I am giving these to her instead of flowers when she is done.

Thanksgiving

I love when each new season arrives and brings fun Holidays. I love Thanksgiving because it involves lots of food and baking. I think this past season I made 14 Dozen of the turkey cookies. That is a lot of candy corn. I made the sunflower for the pumpkin out of white modeling chocolate. I wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!

Santa's Workshop

Every year I make Gingerbread Houses. I never really get around to making one for my family. This year I will! This house was inspired for the lady who ordered it. She is having all of her grandchildren over this year, and I thought it would be fun to have it be Santa's Workshop. I made the windows out of crushed candy so it glows when I put Christmas lights inside. I just need to make the base for it!

Poinsettias

I can hardly wait for Christmas. When I saw these cookie cutters I had to have them. I made the flower out of icing before hand. I used a brush embroidery technique. After they dried I appliqued them to the cookie. They turned out better then I thought they would.

"Gobble, Gobble"

Theses are bound to be popular with little kids. My children just look at them and drool. They love the combination of candy corn with the yummy sugar cookie.

the not so scary "Scarecrow"

There is something about scarecrows and Thanksgiving that I just love. These are fun for neighbors and friends!

I thought it would be fun to create a scene with a big gingerbread cookie rather than making a gingerbread house. My kids are going to take these to their teachers at school for Christmas.

Baby Girl

These were made for a baby shower. The butterflies are made out of royal icing. Even though they are easy to make, they are time consuming. They take 4 Days from start to finnish. But the finished product is well worth the wait!

Happy Halloween!

I made the ghosts out of icing and let them dry beforehand. I liked the idea of putting a toy spider on the cookie for a special effect.

Jack"o"lantern

These cookie cutters are so fun. They have different pieces so you can create your own favorite jack'o lantern face. I filled the eyes and mouth with crushed hard candies to give it a stained glass window effect.
